We Are Sudara

Sudara’s Dog Days of Summer

The Sudara team loves their canine friends! Our US headquarters are in Bend, Oregon, which has one of the highest per capita dog populations anywhere in the world; 49 percent of the region’s residents own a dog. In fact, Dog Fancy magazine claimed Bend as DogTown USA in 2012 and runner up in 2011. Read on to hear from members of the Sudara team and their favorite things to do and places to go with their pups during these Dog Days of Summer (sorry, we also love puns…).

River (nickname: Riverboat)

Breed: German Shepherd

Bio: River is a very gentle, kind momma bear. She is protective and cuddly.

Favorite summer dog activity: Going to the river with River! She gets very hot (look at that coat!) and loves to lay down in the cool water for hours.

Bentley

Breed: It’s a mystery!

Bio: Bentley is both sneaky and sweet. Some days he is obedient and others he does what he wants when he wants. But no matter what he will always approach anyone and everyone with a wagging tail and a huge smile!

Favorite summer dog activity: During the summer we love to go on hikes and relax outside in the grass.

Oso

Breed: American Eskimo mix

Bio: Oso is super protective of his human family.

Favorite summer dog activity: Going to the dog beach (and playing with his friend, Vic!)

Vic

Breed: Corgi/Pomeranian mix

Bio: Vic is 16 years old, obsessed with food, and still quite active for an old dog!

Favorite summer dog activity: Going to the dog beach (and playing with his friend, Oso!)

Bear

Breed: German Shepherd

Bio: Bear is 10 weeks old and doesn’t *quite* know how to be a dog yet. He is curious, get’s tangled easily, and loves belly rubs.

Favorite summer dog activity: Riding in the canoe! Bear loves to sit up front and bite the water as we paddle around the lake, sometimes he even tries to jump in and catch fish (but he always wears his life jacket for safety).

Shasta

Breed: German Wirehair

Bio: Shasta is a total goofball and likes to snuggle up with the family while we read books before bed. She proudly chews her antler for all to see and loves to expose her belly to get comfy for a sun nap.

Favorite summer dog activity: Shasta loves to swim in the river (just look at her)!

We hope you are enjoying the dog days of summer, tag us @sudaragoods or #sudaragoods and let us know what you are doing with your furry friends this season.
